I Am Back!

Wow!

It has been so long since I wrote my last blog but I am glad to be back. God has been doing so many amazing things over the years. On December 5, 2021, I got married to the love of my life, Herbert Brown III. Hallelujah! I love my husband so much. On December 17, 2021, I graduated with my Master’s degree in Pastoral Counseling and Life Coaching from Liberty University. It was truly a transformational experience and I am so grateful for the assignments God used to increase my faith and people skills. Marriage has truly been an awesome journey thus far. When I said yes to the love of my life, I felt true peace and joy in my heart knowing that I was in the center of God’s will.

God keeps His promises!

I can recall being so doubleminded about whether marriage was a part of God’s plan for my life because I was looking at my shortcomings rather than placing my focus on the Great I AM. The Lord wanted to know whether I would serve Him for what was in His hands or whether I would be committed to serving Him even when things didn’t go my way. As believers, we must never forget that Jesus is our exceeding great reward. Nothing or no one can ever take His place. The Lord is the Bishop and Overseer of our souls and our thirst is quenched in Him. Have You found Jesus to be Your deepest desire? I have.

Do not worry.

My friend, if you are worrying about tomorrow, I want to encourage you to stop, breathe, and trust God. The weight of tomorrow is too heavy for us to carry. Let us remember the words Jesus, “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble” (Matthew 6:34). Oh how wonderful it is to trust in the One who is “the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End” (Revelation 22:13). Amen! I am so glad to be back and I thank you al for reading my blog today.

God bless you always,

Mrs. Aliese Brown
