Hello everyone,

I hope this day brings you peace and bubbling joy that overflows into the lives of others. The other day, I was doing some reading and I began to meditate on the love of God. Let us examine the earthly ministry of Jesus and recall the anguish He endured while in the Garden of Gethsemane. It was during this time that an angel came to strengthen Him (see Luke 22:43). I want you to imagine the temptation to flee and save yourself in that moment. Heart racing, knowing that the cross was ahead of you and at any moment, the soldiers would appear to arrest you.

Now pause… let’s give thanks that our Lord and Savior did not abort the mission. He stayed the course, kept the faith, and did the Father’s will. And now, here we are alive and with NEW life because of the compassion of Christ. How can I not serve and love a God like this? How can I not forgive or choose to love others just as Christ loved and forgave me? When we have an awareness that Christ lives on the inside of us, we step into the kingdom reality knowing that we can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens us (Philippians 4:13). There are no limits as we realize that the God of the universe lives on the inside of you. Glory to God.

My friends, the truth is that you are NEVER alone. 🙂 Just like Jesus had an angel who strengthened Him in such a dark hour, we too, have angels who are assigned to keep watch over us. Receive His sacrificial love for you today in Jesus’ name and then share it with the world. Amen.
